Chatterwood is a nursing
home offering short- or long-term nursing care for the elderly,
confused, physically disabled or terminally ill. We have accommodation
for 23 residents, male and female, over the age of 65

Built in Victorian times as a hunting lodge, Chatterwood has been
sympathetically remodelled to provide 13 single and five double rooms,
most of them ensuite and all with views over our extensive private
gardens, which boast some rare and fascinating trees. |
There is a passenger lift to the first floor, making the house suitable for wheelchair users. Chatterwood is a small, homely house, but with its light, cheering décor and large, airy
conservatory, it presents a bright, friendly and welcoming face to
residents and visitors alike. Our fully-qualified and dedicated nursing
staff provide the very highest standards of care to our residents 24
hours a day, seven days a week, and we maintain close links with local
professionals for additional specialist care. We have an enthusiastic
support team, providing a broad programme of structured activities,
including reminiscence therapy, musical movement, flower arranging and
other crafts, plus an annual fete, which residents can join in as and
when they wish. The community library is nearby, and we also receive
regular minibus with wheelchair access, and we organise regular outings
and visits.
Old-world charm, combined with contemporary comforts and peaceful,
pleasant surroundings make Chatterwood the perfect environment for care.
A place you can choose with total confidence. |
